Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems is pleased to announce the addition of the new ADD2000 Series Adaptive Dual Technology 0-10V Dimming Wall Switch Sensors to its line of energy-efficient wiring device solutions.
The wall switch sensors use Hubbell’s proven Adaptive Technology, which studies and automatically adjusts to the usage of the space, along with dual passive infrared and ultrasonic sensing technology that eliminates false “ons” and ensures that lights remain on while users occupy the space – even when movement is minimal.
The added benefit of 0-10V dimming control adjusts the lighting levels of compatible LED fixtures used in today’s lighting applications.
ADD2000 Series Adaptive Dual Technology 0-10V Dimming Wall Switch Sensors provide complete ASHRAE 90.1 and CEC Title 24 energy-efficiency compliance in a cost-effective solution right in the wall box. They can be used in new construction and are a great choice for retrofitting existing switches during commercial lighting upgrades as well, from small offices to conference rooms and breakrooms.
The device provides programming options, as well as manual control of lighting levels, to increase savings and maximize user comfort and productivity. An optional photocell keeps lights off when adequate natural lighting is available. The unit can also be programmed to return lights to a pre-determined level or the last remembered level upon activation.
The ADD2000 Series Adaptive Dual Technology 0-10V Dimming Wall Switch Sensor is available in vacancy/occupancy models or vacancy-only versions.
“The wall switch sensor provides complete lighting control and standards compliance in a simple point of use solution,” says Michael Freney, Product Manager at Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems. “It auto-adjusts the sensitivity and timer based on environmental history and allows users to set the desired lighting level, saving energy and improving occupant experience.”
