To provide cost-effective control of emergency lighting, Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems announces its new CU300ELC Emergency Lighting Control Unit and RTPB10W Remote Test Push Button Plate.
The CU300ELC integrates with the standard lighting control system to allow the emergency lighting circuit lights to be turned off or dimmed until they’re needed instead of leaving them on 24/7. It supports 0-10V dimming applications and can be connected to fire and alarm systems. The Remote Test Push Button Plate gives building owners an easy way to test the emergency lighting by simulating a power outage. The lighting control solution complies with NEC Article 700 for electrical safety in the installation, operation, and maintenance of emergency systems.
The CU300ELC Emergency Light Control and RTPB10W Remote Test Push Button Plate are ideal solutions for new construction projects or lighting upgrades in a variety of commercial applications.
“It’s easy to overlook emergency lighting as an area of potential energy savings,” says Dawn Czepiel, product manager for Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems. “This new solution from Hubbell helps building owners ensure safe emergency operations while also keeping utility bills as low as possible by reducing energy usage.”
