Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems is excited to announce a new accessory for its innovative inREACH Cord Reel, which can be mounted to a ceiling, wall, or bench for flexibility in a variety of applications.

The inREACH Cord Reel launched last year with an improved mounting bracket that allows users to begin installation during the early stages of a project, reducing trim-out time and the labor associated with installing reels toward the end of a job when time savings is a factor.

After experiencing the inREACH Cord Reel, you shared your honest feedback and ideas with us. Based on what installers told us they need most in the field, Hubbell has taken innovation to the next level with a new optional mounting accessory.

The latest inREACH Cord Reel mounting accessory allows installers to mount a junction box directly to the mounting bracket. Instead of having to find or create space for one close to the cord reel, electrical connections can now be housed and protected as part of the cord reel’s mounting bracket.

All the benefits of inREACH Cord Reels still apply:

  • Available in a variety of sizes and in white or yellow
  • Can be used outdoors or indoors in washdown environments
  • Corrosion-resistant cast aluminum construction for impact resistance
  • Automatically maintains cord lengths with positive latch mechanism
  • Applies constant tension with a ratchet lock

“Our new mounting solution gives installers the option to quickly wire up and energize the cord reel to save time,” says Benny Thomas, product manager for Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems. “This new accessory is a perfect example of how we listen to feedback from customers – and do everything we can to give them what they need.”
